We purchased our house from Margot Brattoli in 2005 and we sold our house with Margot in 2010. How I wish it was as simple as that. Instead we’ve had to deal with all sorts of agents, as vendors and as potential    purchasers. We haven’t yet found an agent as easy to deal with as Margot. As purchasers we felt we felt we were fairly treated and honestly dealt with. As vendors we were amazed not only by the price Margot achieved for our house but the speed with which she did it (8 days) and the excellent communication all the way through.

We had always intended to sell with Margot but listed with another agent who sold the house across the road. Now that was a disaster- lots of Open Houses, no offers, no one even that interested in our house. And worse, no communication- no idea how many people came through, where things were at, etc. This agent said “a house sells itself” – not always, Margot sold our house, of that I am sure.

I think a factor that helps Margot sell a house is she really gets a feel for the house and sells it- she will speak to its good points and does so genuinely and warmly- as if it was her home, not as if she is selling it.

Both Margot and Michael possess a knack for photographing a house to its best potential- moving furniture, taking photos of things people really want to see, etc.

After our bad experience with a different agent we took our house off the market, relisted with Margot (and Michael) and 8 days later our house was sold (at our asking price). Throughout the process the communication was excellent. Phone calls to advise that photos were lovely, that listing was up, to confirm open times, to discuss how the open went, to discuss offers, etc.

I am a perfectionist and am rarely satisfied by the level of service received. Showcase Realty’s service has been exemplary and I have no hesitation in recommending Showcase Realty to you. I only regret that we didn’t list with Margot from the outset.

We chose Showcase Realty because of how Margot presented and promoted herself in all Showcase advertisements and marketing.  We interviewed and met with quite a few real estate companies in the area, but none matched Margot’s professionalism, enthusiasm, friendship and achievements.

Most of the other real estate companies did not believe we could achieve the result we desired and gave us the impression they were only interested in their goals.  Had we gone with any of these companies I am sure we would have sold the house quickly,  however for a much much lower price than what Margot achieved.
